Lynn Doughty suggested using a Sand O Flex to put a finial finish on your woodcarvings. What a great tool.
I'm doing a Quail carving and after I got it roughed out I cleaned it up with the Sand O Flex now I'm ready to start carving feathers.

I'm a member of Indian River Woodcarvers.
I took my walking stick to the woodcarving club, this morning.
We meet on Thursday morning from 8:30 to 12:00 noon.
Most everyone brings a woodcarving project in to work on.
I enjoy carving wood. I takes my mind off everything else.
